The Stromness Hotel Our hotel offers breathtaking views of the harbour and the Orkney Islands, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The Stromness Hotel is a 4-storey property with 42 en-suite rooms. Built in 1901, our hotel features a thoughtfully designed layout with a variety of room types: single, double, twin, basic/deluxe triple and quadruple. All rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and suitable desks for our business travelers. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided in all rooms. We welcome pets, so you can travel with your furry friends. Two well-behaved pets are allowed. Charges Apply. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads in public areas and cleaned up after. Guest parking is available with 9 spaces, including private and street parking. We also accommodate tours. Please note that The Stromness Hotel is a dry hotel. We do not serve or permit the consumption of alcoholic beverages anywhere on the premises. Please note that The Stromness Hotel is a non-smoking establishment. ☞ Please note that the lift is temporarily out of service. Rooms are accessible via stairs. ☞ Please note that the reception is available from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM, and self check-in is required after this period. The key safes are located next to the door of each room. ☞ Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, except in the designated outdoor smoking area. Any evidence of smoking outside this area will result in financial charges. Breakfast is available from 7:30 to 9:30 on weekdays and 8:00 to 10:00 on weekends. Restaurant (Scapa Flow Restaurant) is open daily from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
