Hotel do Chiado is located in Chiado, Lisbon's historic district, near Bairro Alto, Rossio Square and Avenida da Liberdade. The hotel was built in the historic building of Armazéns do Chiado, nowadays a shopping centre, which was completely restored by the famous architect Siza Vieira after the tragic fire of 1988. Situated in Chiado, the trendiest, most elegant and chic meeting point in Lisbon, this is the only hotel in town that offers rooms with private terraces and panoramic views of the Castle and the Tagus River. The subway station Baixa-Chiado is located beneath the building and guests can easily find a taxi service next to the hotel. The Entretanto Rooftop Bar, located on the 7th floor, is well-known for having the best view of Lisbon.
