Augustine Hotel Prague
Hotel
Letenska, 12/33, Prague, CZ
Description
Hidden in the heart of Prague’s Lesser Town, Augustine Hotel stands on the 13th-century site of the active Augustinian Monastery of St. Thomas, a testament to 800 years of the city’s history. The hotel’s 101 rooms, including seven signature suites, pay homage to this monastic heritage with original frescoes, vaulted ceilings, ancient stone archways and ornamental ironworks, while also taking inspiration from contemporary Czech Cubism. Guests can explore the Baroque St. Thomas Church and 13th-century library on exclusive Thursday tours, and enjoy beer from the St. Thomas Brewery. The city’s renowned landmarks are just moments away, including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the picturesque Vrtba Garden, and St Wenceslaus Vineyard. After a day of exploring, drinks and light refreshments are served at The Refectory Bar, before a relaxing dinner of traditional flavours and signature twists at Augustine Restaurant. Enjoy a truly special stay in a secluded corner of a most enchanting city.
