Description
Your Boutique Downtown Escape. You'll find the boutique Þingholt by Center Hotels just off Reykjavik's main shopping street. Small in size but big on style, the hotel has an intimate, cosmopolitan vibe throughout. If you're looking to wind down, take a load off at the hotel spa or at the cozy bar in the hotel's lounge. Designed by celebrated Icelandic architect Gulla Jonsdottir, all 52 rooms at Þingholt mix modern comfort with Icelandic, nature-inspired design. Rooms come with all the kit including hairdryer, shower, safety deposit box, free WIFI, flat screen TV and a mini-bar. Looking for some authentic drinks in a beautiful setting? The Þingholt wine list is hand-picked by the staff and the cocktails are a blend of classics and Þingholt originals. Massage therapies, a large hot tub and a rainwater shower. A visit to the Ísafold spa is the perfect way to wind down.
